Performing Arts Center (PAC)

The Crossing is the next step of our Campus Development Strategy for Hillcrest. We believe God has opened a unique door for us to move our worship services to the Performing Arts Center at Oregon High School. The PAC has plenty of seats, parking, lobby space, and classrooms to handle our growing congregation, and the school administration has been very gracious in extending the invitation to come.

We've entitled this project The Crossing as we consider making the move across Highway 14 to the school. The congregation has confirmed this strategy by voting to move forward with the project. The Crossing giving window was established for April 1, 2011 – March 31, 2012 with a tentative move to the high school in February of 2012.

But there's more to it than just a physical crossing. Hillcrest is all about helping people make a spiritual crossing - from a life without Christ, to a joyful, forgiven future with Christ. We've tasted the goodness of life with God, and now we want to share it. Moving to the high school means there is always a seat, always a parking space, and always a place for children so that seeking people can discover the transforming power of the Gospel.
