ADULT MINISTRIES
Small Groups
Christ-followers understand that the grace of God that saved them is only the beginning of His work in them. One who is truly following the Lord will honor God's call to participate in community in order to grow in Christ-likeness, to express love and to carry out the ministry of the church. This means not only participation in the greater community of the church, but also in small group community for the purpose of mutual encouragement, support, and accountability. Growth takes place in the context of community and here at Hillcrest, we have a place just for you.
A small group consists of about six to twelve adults. The purpose of a small group is to provide a context in which spiritual intimacy can be achieved through relationships, prayer, Bible discussion, and caring for one another. Most of our groups meet in homes on Sunday evenings while others meet during the week. The sessions last about an hour and a half.

Joshua Men's Ministry
"Be strong and courageous, for you will lead my people to possess all the land I swore to give their ancestors." - Joshua 1:6
At Hillcrest, we believe that strong churches consist of strong leaders. That is why we believe in a vigorous men’s ministry. Whether it is 4 by 4 Bible studies, mentoring programs, one on one discipleship or leadership training, it is our desire to foster growth that produces leadership “so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.” - Colossians 1:28
Other opportunities for men include retreats, conferences, prayer breakfasts, outings and athletics.

Women's Ministry - "Sisters inC"
".for we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
Sisters inC (Sisters in Christ) functions as the hub for the women’s ministries at Hillcrest. Our focus is to grow women in their relationship with God as well as their relationships with each other. We do this through Fellowship Opportunities, Bible Studies, and Retreats/Conferences. Our hope is that any woman who desires to know Jesus more intimately or strengthen friendships with other women will be able to do that through the activities we offer. Specific examples include: Daytime and Evening Bible Studies, National and Local Women's Conferences, Baby Showers, Christmas Specials, Shopping Trips, Game Nights, Summertime Play Dates, and Service Opportunities.

MOPS Ministry
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) knows you are experiencing a challenging phase of life when doubt, fear, frustration, and exhaustion collide with love, joy, hope and elation. While you're pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!
MOPS is a dynamic, inviting environment where you can come - just as you are - to be refreshed and inspired. While moms are enjoying themselves, their children are being cared for in the nursery or attending MOPPETS, a fun and nurturing environment for kids. Children ages 2-5 are provided with structured learning that includes Bible stories, crafts, songs and games. The morning MOPS meets the 1st Thursday of every month from September through May from 8:30 - 11:00 am, and there is a $5.00 per mom charge to cover administrative costs.
We also offer an evening MOPS the 3rd Thursday of the month from September through May from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. There is no charge for the evening MOPS group and no childcare is provided at this time.
