ADULT MINISTRIES
Grow Groups
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together...but encouraging one another..." (ESV). This meeting together refers to participation in the greater community of the local church as well as in smaller group community within the church for the purpose of mutual encouragement, support and accountability.
A Grow Group consists of eight to twelve adults and provides an environment in which spiritual intimacy can be achieved through relationships, prayer, Bible discussion, and caring for one another. Most of our groups meet in homes on Tuesday evenings while others meet other nights throughout the week. The sessions last about an hour and a half.
The Grow Group curriculum is "sermon-based". This reinforces and helps us apply what we learn from God's Word on Sunday mornings through personal reflection (a little bit of homework!) and group discussion.

Joshua Men's Ministry
"Be strong and courageous, for you will lead my people to possess all the land I swore to give their ancestors." - Joshua 1:6
At Hillcrest, we believe that strong churches consist of strong leaders. That is why we believe in a vigorous men’s ministry. Whether it is 4 by 4 Bible studies, mentoring programs, one on one discipleship or leadership training, it is our desire to foster growth that produces leadership “so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.” - Colossians 1:28
Other opportunities for men include retreats, conferences, prayer breakfasts, outings and athletics.

Women's Ministry - "Sisters inC"
".for we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
Sisters inC (Sisters in Christ) functions as the hub for the women’s ministries at Hillcrest. Our focus is to grow women in their relationship with God as well as their relationships with each other. We do this through Fellowship Opportunities, Bible Studies, and Retreats/Conferences. Our hope is that any woman who desires to know Jesus more intimately or strengthen friendships with other women will be able to do that through the activities we offer. Specific examples include: Daytime and Evening Bible Studies, National and Local Women's Conferences, Baby Showers, Christmas Specials, Shopping Trips, Game Nights, Summertime Play Dates, and Service Opportunities.

MOPS Ministry
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) knows you are experiencing a challenging phase of life when doubt, fear, frustration, and exhaustion collide with love, joy, hope and elation. While you're pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!
MOPS is a dynamic, inviting environment where you can come - just as you are - to be refreshed and inspired. While moms are enjoying themselves, their children are being cared for in the nursery or attending MOPPETS, a fun and nurturing environment for kids. Children ages 2-5 are provided with structured learning that includes Bible stories, crafts, songs and games. MOPS meets twice/month on Thursday mornings from September through May, beginning at 9:00am. The local meeting fee is $5/month to cover costs, as well as the $23.95/year MOPS International fee. Scholarships are available.
If you are interested in attending please email Pastor Fred.
**For the safety and protection of your children and your own peace of mind, we require background checks and ID badges for all our childcare workers.
